Bully Room Roadmap

Bully Room is being built in phases so each major feature can launch with safety, moderation, payment, and performance controls in place. These time frames are reasonable estimates, not guarantees, because final timing can depend on development, app-store review, payment-provider approval, safety testing, and legal or compliance requirements.

Recommended build order

The order below keeps the business model practical: bookings and secure checkout support marketplace revenue first, then calls, live content, gifting, Bully Room TV, and global pet chat expand engagement and creator income.

Phase 1 · Summer 2026

Booking system for breeders, shelters, and pet services

A custom Bully Room scheduling system for consultations, meet-and-greets, grooming, boarding, training, stud appointments, adoption appointments, and service visits.

  • Provider service menu, duration, price/deposit settings, weekly availability, and blackout dates.
  • Client booking request flow with approve/deny, reminders, and automatic chat thread linking.
  • Designed to become the controlled first use case for future video appointments.
Phase 2 · Late Summer 2026

Secure Checkout for listings and services

A protected marketplace payment flow where supported transactions can use payment-provider controls, pickup codes, delivery confirmation, issue reporting, and timed release rules. Bully Room will not market this as escrow.

  • Secure Checkout, Buyer Protection, and Marketplace Payout wording instead of “escrow.”
  • Pickup confirmation code for in-person handoff and tracking-based release for shipped items.
  • Payment states, automatic release windows, dispute holds, and seller payout status.
Phase 3 · Fall 2026

Voice and video calling

Instagram-style voice and video calls for safer consultations and appointments. Calls should first be limited to users with an existing chat, mutual relationship, or confirmed booking.

  • Incoming call screen, missed call notices, and call history inside chat.
  • Server-generated RTC tokens so app secrets are not stored in Flutter.
  • Premium use cases for breeders, trainers, groomers, shelters, and service providers.
Phase 4 · Winter 2026

Live streaming — watch-first MVP

A live streaming section for animal-related content, starting with creator streams that can be watched inside Bully Room before adding more advanced in-app broadcasting tools.

  • Live badge on profile, live cards in feed, live page, viewer count, and live chat.
  • Cloudflare Stream or similar managed streaming workflow for scalable playback.
  • Training demos, breeder Q&A, rescue updates, animal education, and event coverage.
Phase 5 · Early 2027

Paw Gifts — Bully Room live gifting

A creator-support system inspired by live gifting, branded for Bully Room as Paw Gifts. Users can support creators during live streams, subject to app-store payment rules and payout eligibility.

  • Possible gift names: Paw Gifts, Treats, Paw Drops, Super Treats, Kennel Boosts, and Spotlight Gifts.
  • Creator ledger, wallet balance, eligibility review, payout requests, and fraud monitoring.
  • No guaranteed earnings; payouts depend on policies, fees, reviews, and applicable law.
Phase 6 · Spring 2027

Bully Room TV

A curated 24/7 broadcast-style channel featuring selected animal-related creators, educational clips, breeder spotlights, shelter features, safe handling content, pet care, training, and community stories.

  • Programming blocks like real TV: training hour, shelter spotlight, exotic care, breeder Q&A, and Tails highlights.
  • Creator selection, licensing permission, moderation review, scheduled playlist, and sponsor/ad slots.
  • Designed for passive viewing, brand growth, and creator discovery.
Phase 7 · Summer 2027

Global Pet Chat

A world chat section inside Messages with public category channels for pet communities. This should use channel-style data, not normal DM threads, so it can scale globally.

  • Top-level rooms for dogs, cats, farm animals, reptiles, birds, aquatics, horses, and more.
  • Subcategories such as bully breeds, working dogs, cows, ponies, chickens, Maine Coons, and reptiles.
  • Built-in moderation: reports, block user, slow mode, rate limits, word filters, and temporary mutes.
